Katie is a special education teacher, runner, proud daughter, sister, aunt and Beautiful Me instructor.

Why I got involved?

I have been volunteering with the Hance Family Foundation since 2009. The Beautiful Me program will always hold a special place in my heart. It is a gift to teach-- I always walk away with an incredibly special experience. There's nothing better than seeing first-hand the impact made because of Beautiful Me. I love seeing a girl come "out of her shell" at the end of a Beautiful Me class and proudly shout, "I am beautiful!"
